ANOTHER FANTASTIC 24 HOURS FOR MYTHOS

Mythos, Marangoni's new UHP tyre, once again took centre stage during the 24 Hour race for Telethon in Adria - Italy.
Mounted on all participating race cars, the Mythos performed excellently, just as it did at the Nürburgring in May , confirming its outstanding sports performance and reliability under the most demanding conditions.

Further improving performance on any type of road surface, but in particular on snow and ice, the new Marangoni winter product is a complete and extremely safe tyre. High and constant efficiency across an exceptionally wide range of winter ambient temperatures. Progress in performance, above all thanks to the new SPE (Solid Particles Encapsulation) technology. With a strong emphasis on protecting the environment the range has a very low rolling resistance, a compound with a reduced environmental impact and is specially developed for low noise operation. An ideal winter tyre for mid-high class vehicles (speed rating up to V, rims up to 18”).

MOTOR SPORT 2004

Marangoni increases its commitment to motor sport, with important resources of the R&D department dedicated to the development of specific technology for racing tyres.

• participation in the Nürburgring 24-hour race in collaboration with the German team run by Franz Engstler and Seat Sport Italia;
• the Italian Hillclimb Championship with Osella;
• the Marangoni Junior Trophy 2004, organised with Volkswagen Motorsport Italia and Villorba Corse;
• the Mazda RX-8 Sport Cup 2004, in collaboration with Astra Racing.
  

An intense program aimed not only at sporting achievements, but above all at testing and proving innovative technological solutions.

MARANGONI ZETA LINEA RACING TYRES FOR OSELLA ITALIAN AND EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS

First season for Marangoni with prototypes. For the official Osella team a brand-new Zeta Linea Racing tyre has been developed, with the aim of proving that a radial tyre can be a winner in uphill races.

Marangoni thus consolidates its commitment to sporting activities, setting up a highlevel technical team and confirming the philosophy of a brand that is increasingly focused on UHP tyres.
