SPE: The new era in winter tires

SPE (Solid Particles Encapsulation) is the new technology applied by Marangoni to drastically improve the performance of winter tyres.

By encapsulating crystals measuring just a few microns in size into the compound, Marangoni R&D has managed to achieve exceptional grip on ice and to increase adherence across the tread.
Yet that's not all. The progressive separation of the crystals produces an alternating sequence of microscopic hollow and full spots in the tread that are particularly effective on snow. Moreover this is a process that remains constant throughout the normal wear of the tire.

Combined with the other leading Marangoni technologies (PST, FOM-IC), SPE makes the new winter tyres incredibly complete in terms of performance and absolute safety on all road surfaces.
